The inspiration for this site and its name came from my grandmother and her family nickname. Some of my fondest family memories happened or started in her kitchen.

This site was founded on recipes provided by family members of mine. Many thanks to them for the contributions and their help in launching this website. I would also like to thank the site visitors for the recipes they have provided. The recipes on this site are posted for public domain use and are free to use and share. The recipes on this website may mention the use of a product. This should not be considered an endorsement by this website.

If you are a returning visitor you will have noticed that this website has had some remodeling work done. This is just the beginning... I will be updating the layout and organization of the information. I will also be adding new features.
