Cucumber Coleslaw

4 cups shredded cabbage
2 cups peeled, diced cucumbers
1 medium onion, sliced very thin and soaked in vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
1/2 cup salad dressing
Combine cabbage and cucumbers; add onion slices and toss. Sprinkle the sugar and salt over mixture. Add celery seed and tarragon vinegar and mix well. Add salad dressing just before serving and mix well.
